The Wisdom of Crowds

For this two channel video projection, created for our solo exhibition Play Against, we invited members of the Riverside community to navigate the nebulous social relations of individuals coming together as a group. The title refers to the book by business journalist James Surowiecki, in which he argues that "under the right circumstances, groups are remarkably intelligent, and are often smarter than the smartest people in them."
