"Used with Deceit" at Beyond Baroque

This solo exhibition and performance was curated by Carleton Christy, who took the title from a line from the Blake poem "Silent, Silent Night." We took the opportunity to debut the first wave of videos from Our Jeff Gordon, which we displayed on the gallery's 60 inch monitor along with a 7 foot tall ampersand we constructed for the occasion (with help from Darren Hostetter). For our performance we channeled Spalding Gray times two, read Jeff Gordon poetry, talked about why we didn't want to talk about Blake, and led the audience in a sing-along to Carleton Christy's awesome Ampersand Song, among other things.
